Eternal reward and judgement
Psalm 37:27Turn away from evil and do good; so shall you dwell forever.
Psalm 37:28For the LORD loves justice;he will not forsake his saints.They are preserved forever,but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.
(the Psalms have a lot of ‘forever’)
1 John 2:17And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
Hope in the eternal home, ‘forever’ as uplifting
Psalm 136:1Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.
2 Corinthians 5: 1 For we know that if the tent, which is our earthly home, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling,
2 Thessalonians 2:16Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace.
